Haydent LLC / Our promise
Lifetime workmanship warranty

We stand behind
every job we do.

Haydent LLC warrants the workmanship on every repair we perform — paintless dent repair, panel replacement, paint, and glass — for as long as you own the vehicle. If something we fixed later shows a defect, we make it right.

How it works

  1. Call Haydent LLC at (281) 642-2188 or email hayden@haydent.info or info@haydent.info with photos and a short description. Call for nearest location.
  2. We’ll inspect the issue — at our shop, on-site at your home, or at a qualified dealership body shop of your choice.
  3. If the issue is traceable to our original work, we pick one of three remedies:
    • Re-repair it ourselves at no cost to you, or
    • Pre-authorize a dealership quote and pay the shop directly on completion, or
    • Reimburse you after the approved repair is finished.
  4. A Haydent LLC manager reviews and approves any third-party quote before work is authorized or payment is issued. Approvals are usually same-day.

What’s covered

  • Workmanship defects on dent, paint, panel, or glass work that Haydent LLC performed
  • Issues like paint peel, weld failure, improper panel alignment, or glass seal leakage that trace back to our repair
  • Covered for as long as you own the vehicle — transferable on request (same VIN, new owner)

What’s not covered

  • New damage from subsequent hail, collision, vandalism, or normal wear and tear
  • Repairs performed by other shops before or after our work
  • Pre-existing conditions disclosed at original estimate and accepted “as-is”
  • Aftermarket modifications, accessories, or non-factory parts installed by others
  • Any claim where the root-cause inspection concludes the issue is unrelated to our repair — in those cases we’ll tell you directly and recommend where to go next, but reimbursement does not apply

Why the manager-approval step?

It protects both of us. It confirms the issue is from our work (not new damage), that the proposed repair is the right fix, and that the quote is fair. That’s how we stay accountable for our work — and only our work.

PDR, aluminum & the original finish

Paintless Dent Repair vs. Conventional Repair on Aluminum Hoods

How paint condition, aluminum panel construction, tool access and vehicle repair procedures affect whether hail damage is suitable for paintless dent repair.

Inspection footage still.

Keeping a vehicle’s existing finish is a worthwhile goal. The way to reach it starts with the actual panel, its paint and the damage—not a blanket promise that one repair method fits every car.

What paintless dent repair aims to preserve

Paintless dent repair uses controlled pushing or pulling techniques to reshape a dent while preserving the finish. When the damage and vehicle permit it, this can avoid the need to refinish that area. The inspection determines whether it is an appropriate option.

Aluminum needs a vehicle-specific plan

Steel and aluminum are not interchangeable repair surfaces. I-CAR’s discussion of Rivian’s PDR position statement illustrates why the vehicle-specific instructions matter: that manufacturer permits PDR on both materials with limitations, and requires evaluation of paint micro-cracking. Those instructions are an example for Rivian vehicles, not a universal rule for every brand.

Access matters as much as appearance

A dent that looks simple from above may be difficult to reach from behind. Bracing, adhesives, foam and nearby components can affect the repair approach. I-CAR cautions against drilling access holes to perform PDR and against damaging other parts during dent removal.

Ask for an explanation you can follow

  • Which panels are suitable for paintless repair?
  • What did the inspection reveal about paint condition and access?
  • Which vehicle repair procedures apply to the proposed work?
  • Does any part of the plan require refinishing, replacement or further inspection?

A good discussion makes the scope understandable. Ask the shop to explain the alternatives for your vehicle rather than promising that every dent can be removed in the same way. Keep the approved estimate and final repair documentation together.
